Coordinate systems and transformations, base vectors, scalar and vector point functions, gradient, divergence, curl, Laplacian, divergence theorem, Stokes theorem, source point and field point notation, electrostatic and magnetostatic fields and laws, scalar and vector potential functions, continuity equation, Maxwell's equations in differential and integral form, boundary conditions, wave equation, time harmonic fields, planewaves, electromagnetic radiation, dipole antenna, Poynting theorem, distributed circuits and transmission lines. Associated laboratory work.

Prerequisites: MATH 38, EE 13.
