EE 50-01 Introduction to Biomedical Engineering

(Cross-listed with Engineering Science 50 and BME 50.) An introduction to the interdisciplinary nature of biomedical engineering. The biological, chemical, electrical, and mechanical principles involved in the design and operation of medical devices. Biopotentials, electrodes, transducers, biocompatibility of materials, and patient safety. Fall. (May be taken at 100-level.)
