Notes on installing MATLAB

Follow the directions from Tufts IT to set up your MathWorks account through Tufts.

You’re welcome to use MATLAB online (it seems quite full-featured and I was even able to use Simulink), but you’re likely to have a smoother experience by installing it locally.

After signing into your MathWorks account, you’ll have the option to download the installer.

Sign in with your Tufts credentials.

Make sure to select the following for installation:

• MATLAB
• Simulink
• Control systems toolbox
• Symbolic math toolbox
