Prof. Hopwood named Chair Elect of the Plasma Science and Technology Division of the American Vacuum Society

Jeffrey Hopwood has been named Chair Elect of the Plasma Science and Technology Division of the American Vacuum Society. The Plasma Science and Technology Division provides a forum for those interested in the entire range of plasma science and technology, extending from fundamental modeling studies to manufacturing applications. He succeeds chair elect, Jane Chang, department of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2009, Hopwood will succeed current chair, Eray S. Aydil, a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota.
