TITLE: Digital Calibration of Pipelined Analog to Digital Converters

ABSTRACT:

We are proposing both (1) analog and (2) digital calibration techniques for high resolution pipelined A/D converters. The technique will be implemented in background, and will correct for finite gain error of the operational amplifiers, capacitor mismatch and nonlinear input dependent gain errors that limit the performance of the pipelined converter. Techniques utilize adaptive least mean squared approachfor digital calibration.
