The EPIIC (Education for Public Inquiry
and International Citizenship) CD-ROM Project

EPIIC's central purpose is to educate individuals both within and outside of the Tufts community to better understand and assume their responsibilites as global citizens. This year's topic is "The Future of Democracy" and the multimedia presentation explores Justice in Transitional Soceities. The EPIIC students studied five different methods that newly formed democratic governments use to punish (or pardon) the officials of the past, oppressive regimes. The multimedia team has created a 3D "Hall of Justice", which has rooms representing each of these five methods. From each room, maps on the wall take the user to countries used as case studies which represent each of the five. The EPIIC homepage is www.tufts.edu/as/epiic
